The OnePlus 13 series is launching in the next few weeks but when will the brand launch the new Watch 3 model? We finally might have the answer.
OnePlus started its smartwatch journey on a bad note which improved dramatically with the Watch 2 model this year. And now, the company is ready to upgrade to version 3.0 of the smartwatch which should be launching sometime early next year. The new details about the OnePlus Watch 3 have leaked recently and it shows some design changes that will surely excite you about the upgraded model coming out in 2025.
OnePlus Watch 3 Design Leak: What To Expect
The new leak via a report this month shows a same-ish design for the OnePlus Watch 3 with its circular display most likely getting an AMOLED panel. However, it seems the company is ready to overhaul the use of the rotating dial and make it more functional and let you access more features.
OnePlus is tipped to improve the health features on the Watch 3 with a new heart rate sensor to support ECG for better real-time tracking and alerts like the Apple Watch. The hardware on the Watch 3 is likely to have some basic upgrades but having an LTE model in the lineup could encourage more people to consider the next smartwatch for their off-the-phone use.
The dual-OS strategy is expected to be part of the ecosystem once again, and the only major boost we would like OnePlus to offer is a bigger battery unit to accommodate the all-time connectivity support.
OnePlus 13 series is launching in early January across markets including India, where we will also see the OnePlus 13R model. But there has been no details or official word on the OnePlus Watch 3 launch details which suggests it might happen later in 2025. These new hardware changes could push the OnePlus Watch 3 price slightly higher but hopefully not by that much.
